Description
This BMW and Mini compatible rechargeable VL2020 (3 Volt) button cell battery is ideal to replace your defective battery. The rechargeable battery is suitable for a variety of BMW and Mini keys. The contact points are opposite (180 degrees) in this model.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can replace your battery without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your key housing
Step 2. Remove the battery from the key housing
Step 3: Attach the new rechargeable battery to the electronics or place it in the battery case. Close the key housing.
Note: If the battery is soldered to the electronics you will need to desolder the old battery. Then you can insert and solder the new battery.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a functioning key!!!
