Chevrolet compatible 3-button key housing with straight key blade (and notch left and right) to replace your damaged or defective key housing. Among others, the key is suitable for Chevrolet Holden VS Commodore, Chevrolet Holden VT Commodore, Chevrolet Holden VX Commodore, Chevrolet VY Commodore, Chevrolet VZ Commodore, Chevrolet WH Statesman, Chevrolet WK Statesman, Chevrolet Holden WL Statesman and Chevrolet Pontiac.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No it is not necessary, you can have a functioning key housing again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics, battery and immobilizer and place them in the new key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new key housing. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.
