This Ford compatible 3-button folding key with straight blade (SIP22) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective folding key. The flip key features a battery tray. The key is suitable for Ford Ka, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working folding key again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them in the new clapkey.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a properly working folding key again.
