Ford 3-button smart key with electronics 433MHZ - 4D63 transponder

Ford compatible 3-button smart key including electronics (433MHZ) and immobilizer (4D63 - 80bit). The key is suitable as (extra) spare key and suitable for Ford B-Max, Ford C-Max, Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus, Ford Galaxy, Ford Grand C-Max, Ford Kuga, Ford Mondeo and Ford S-Max, among others.

What do we supply?

You will receive a complete car key. That is, a car key including electronics (remote control) and transponder. The electronics allow you to open and close the car remotely. The transponder (also called immobilizer) ensures that you can start the car.

How does it work?

The programming (also called linking / learning / reading in) of this car key will have to be done by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostics company. Before ordering, check with a company in your area if they can program the key for you.

Note: This key is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. Because of this, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. The dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer/wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).

What should you do?

Step 1. Enquire at a local car dealer, specialist garage or car diagnostic company whether they can program keys with electronics.

Step 2. Order the required car key and have it programmed by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company.

Step 3. Have the emergency key (iron key) sharpened by a key maker / chop shop.
