This Hyundai compatible 3-button folding key with a straight key blade with notch (TOY40) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective folding key. The key is suitable for Hyundai I40, Hyundai IX20 and Hyundai Santa Fe, among others.

Is technical knowledge necessary?

No that is not necessary, you can without technical knowledge again have a good working clap key.

What do you have to do?

Step 1. Open your existing key, take out the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new folding key.

Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.

Step 3. That's all, you now have a working folding key again.
