This Kia compatible 2-button folding key with straight blade with notch in the center (TOY40) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective folding key. The key is suitable for the Kia Picanto, among others.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working flip key again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new folding key.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a working folding key again.
