Description
With this Mini compatible 2-button flip key with point key blade, you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a flip key. Among other things, the key is suitable for Mini Cooper.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model 1087. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter undercup and place them in the new flip key housing. Close the housing.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key!
