Mini 3-button smart key with electronics 433MHZ - ID46 transponder

Mini compatible 3-button smart key including electronics (433MHZ) and immobilizer (ID46). The key blade is straight (HU92R). The key is suitable as (extra) spare key and suitable for Mini Cooper, Mini Cabrio, Mini Cooper S, Mini Coupé, Mini Countryman, Mini Roadster and Mini Paceman.

What do we supply?

You will receive a complete car key. That is, a car key including electronics (remote control) and transponder. The electronics allow you to open and close the car remotely. The transponder (also called immobilizer) ensures that you can start the car.

How does it work?

The programming (also called linking / learning / reading in) of this car key will have to be done by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostics company. Before ordering, check with a company in your area if they can program the key for you.

Note: This key is not pre-programmed by the manufacturer. Because of this, the car key cannot be programmed by a dealer. The dealer orders a pre-programmed car key from the importer/wholesaler based on your chassis number (vehicle identification number).

Step 1. Enquire at a local car dealer, specialist garage or car diagnostic company whether they can program keys with electronics.

Step 2. Order the required car key and have it programmed by a car company, specialist garage or car diagnostic company.
