Description
With this Mitsubishi compatible 3-button folding key (key blade point, you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key. Suitable for Mitsubishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Outlander, Mitsubishi Colt and Mitsubishi Mirage.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current key is model MITSU07. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing key, take out the electronics and immobilizer and transfer them to the new key.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) sharpened (copied):
(a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the page "car key sharpening".
b.) Or have the key sharpened by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a working folding key!
