Description
With this Opel compatible 2-button folding key with straight key blade (HU100) you can convert your old (damaged) folding key into the updated model folding key. The key is suitable for, among others, Opel Astra, Opel Zafira, Opel Mokka and Opel Insignia.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without any technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Make sure that your current key . If you have another model this folding key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your existing folding key, remove the electronics and starter sub-cup and insert it into the new folding key housing.
Step 3. Have the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) sharpened (copied):
(a.) We can take care of this for you. You can read how this works on the page "car key sharpening".
b.) Or have the key sharpened by a locksmith.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a working folding key!
