How do I replace the key housing?
You can have a functioning key housing again without technical knowledge.

What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key housing take out the transponder/immobilizer and electronics and put them over the new key housing. Close the housing.
Step 2. If the old key blade (the iron part of your key) is detachable you can transfer it. Otherwise, have your key copied by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing again.
