This Peugeot compatible 3-button folding key with pointed key blade with notch in the center (NE78) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective folding key. Among others, suitable for Peugeot 406 and Peugeot 407.

Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a properly working folding key again without technical knowledge.

What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new folding key. Close the housing.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a properly working folding key again.
