This Skoda compatible 3-button flip key with straight key blade (HU66) is ideal to replace your damaged or defective flip key. The key is among others suitable for Skoda Octavia.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can have a good working clapkey again without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Open your existing key, remove the electronics and immobilizer and insert them into the new folding key.
Step 2. Transfer the key blade (the part that goes into your ignition) to the new folding key. You can also choose to have the key sharpened (copied) by a locksmith. Close the housing.
Step 3. That's all, you now have a properly working folding key again.
