Suzuki 2-button folding key - key blade point (conversion kit)

With this Suzuki compatible 2-button folding key with pointed key blade (HU87) you can convert your old (damaged) key housing into a folding key. The key is suitable for Suzuki Grand Vitara, Suzuki Swift, Suzuki SX4 and Suzuki Wagon R, among others.

Is technical knowledge necessary?

No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.

What do you need to do?

Step 1. Check that your current key is model 1157. If you have another model, this key will not be suitable.

Step 2. Open your existing key housing, remove the electronics and starter undercup and place them in the new flip key housing.

Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.

Step 4. That's it, you now have a properly working clap key!

CAUTION: There is a slight chance that the immobilizer chip (transponder) may be too far away from the ignition/ steering lock causing the car not to start. This may be due to the position of the transponder in the original key, its lifespan as the signal gets weaker over time. Should the car not start please contact us and we will provide an appropriate solution.
