Volvo 2-button folding key - key blade straight with notch (conversion kit)

This Volvo compatible 2-button key housing with a straight key blade allows you to convert your old (damaged) ignition key and remote control into a flip key. The key is suitable for Volvo S40, Volvo V40 and Volvo S80, among others.

Is technical knowledge necessary?

No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.

What do you need to do?

Step 1. Check if your current ignition key is model VOLV01 and check your remote control if it is model 1060. If you have another model, this key housing will not be suitable.

Step 2. Open your existing ignition key, remove the immobilizer and transfer it to the new key housing. Take out the remote control electronics and transfer them to the new key housing.

Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.

Step 4. That's all, you now have a functioning key housing.
