Description
With this Volvo-compatible 3-button folding key with notched key blade, you can convert your old (damaged) ignition key and remote control into a folding key.
Is technical knowledge necessary?
No that is not necessary, you can turn your normal key housing into a folding key without technical knowledge.
What do you need to do?
Step 1. Check if your current remote control is model VOLV08 and transponder key VOLV03. If you have another model, this folding key will not be suitable.
Step 2. Open your key, remove the immobilizer and transfer it to the new key housing. Remove from the remote the electronics and battery and transfer it to the new folding key.
Step 3. Have your key copied by a key maker.
Step 4. That's all, you now have a properly functioning folding key.
